Flattering. The poetry of his words makes me tingle. Am I the Optimum relaxer girl?
Let's get real. Bright colors and bright voices are among frowns, routines, litter, a fast paced life, and fast food. But there are still little things we can enjoy. Feathers, crashing water in the bay, sweet nectarines, dew sprinkled grass. Among those are also the people who mesh themselves with our lives. They are most important. Love and happiness bring out the brightness in a darkening world.
I like making people smile, inside jokes, dancing to swing and jazz music, dancing to no music in the street, trying new things and going to new places, creating things, immersing myself in art and music, simple/elaborate luxuries, dressing up, dining, cuddling, multidimensional intimacy, calm quality time, talking and laughing till dawn, trading ideas, and heated debates.
I'm an amateur starving artist and musician, writer, political junkie, some hippie, a temptress, kind of unbelievable, complex, and that person you always want to talk to when you're going through some crisis.
About my life
My life is not set in stone. The wind takes me everywhere, but toward goals.
I'm a student taking a year off from college (Going to Randolph - Macon Woman's College) to discover the fruits of life. I know what you're thinking. Some feminist. But at least I'm not a feminazi. I maintain sex appeal AND morals.
The "plan" is to study political science and philosophy with a concentration in musical performance (voice AND instrumental if possible). My upbringing involved forming an operatic/jazzy voice without any formal training. I strive to learn Bel-Canto opera from some wonderful virtuoso.. or at least form an acappella group borne of the passion you can feel in the human spirit.
Life has dealt me some dirty poker hands - I'm doing my best. I'm working on meeting beautiful, genuine people and forming bonds. Love, in every single dimension, is something to really strive for.
First comes passion, then the career. But I am a business woman - that takes me far. Worse comes to worse, I'll probably end up living in a suave little box for my 20-some years. Particle board will be my Ethan Allen furniture. :P Now there's a class act!
